Ingredients

FLAKY PIE CRUST

  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cups lard,chilled
  • 6 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar

PIE FILLING

  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups young coconut meat

EGG WASH

  • 1 small egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
